The life of military persons is different than people in other professions. In some ways it is harder than civilian life. The main difference in the life of a civilian and military persons is they spend most of their service spends on the move either on missions outside country or on training in a military school; therefore, it becomes most important for them to manage their monthly pay to avoid financial difficulties for themselves and their families. Married personals of military are entitled to receive BAH or housing allowance of military. That allowance is in addition to other benefits. When military officials are on training, this allowance calculated on the basis of their permanent address or ZIP code. Often people assumed that this allowance is part of pay but the fact is that housing allowance is not included in salary, instead of that there is a process through which housing allowance paid. The process takes time before it is been paid to the employees.

Power of Attorney and Its Types

When military employees deployed overseas, often they give power of attorney to their spouse or any other blood relative. That power can be used to sale a car or house and in other important legal formalities.

Powers are of two types, one is specific for a reason mentioned in it and other is known as general power of attorney. Normally people on away mission or training give a general power of attorney to their trusted one as it can be used anywhere needed. General power of attorney is a comprehensive solution to allow your representative to make your financial decisions while you are away.

When military recruits on their basic training or military persons on any other training, they don’t use their car. Most of the single military men choose to put their car into storage and reduce the cost of insurance of car by simply refusing the insurance or reduce the coverage and benefits.

Service Members Relief Act 2003

The men as well as women in uniform are well protected comprehensively through Service Members Relief act, which was signed by the president in 2003. Military persons are entitled to get pre-service loans and other credit facilities on a rate of interest as low as 6% through that act. To get this benefit you only have to provide copy of orders to the bank or other financial institutes. Another benefit of this act is when a military person deployed some other place for 180 days or more, he can terminate his car leases.
