Luminous, deliberate, and planned minds were the reason of victories in past. And the people having these qualities became the generals and the leaders of armies and forces. They had control over their armies. Some of them are described briefly here.
1. George S. Patton

The most notorious person in the Allied forces considered himself to be reborn after the ancient warriors. First of all he became the mentor to Eisenhower. He captured large amounts of land in short span of time. Some of his famous incidents resulted in his decline.
2. Robert E. Lee

He was the most victorious commander in history against the super forces. He was famous for his infinite knowledge. His losses always shocked the enemies. Lee was forced to adopt the strategy of slow destruction.
3. Joan of Arc

She was a French peasant girl. As she was in weak position, but she influenced many French victories, and inspired the French forces to renew forever. English court tried to give punishment to her but later on she got freed from any question of guilt. Then she was made the supporter of France.
4. Salah ad Din

He was the terrific leader of the Crusades. He was known for his calmness, rationality and respect for opponents. Due to these qualities he occupied Syria, Egypt and Israel. He was given a lot of respect. He had the friendship with Richard the Lionheart. He was used to send him gifts.
5. Julius Caesar

He was the famous leader of Rome. His operations against the Gauls, needs to be taught in many military academies. His victory over Pompey made him the emperor of Rome.
He ended his life as a political leader. His victories were mainly dependent on his faithfulness.
6. Attila the Hun

Attila was the leader of Hunnish empire. This is now increased from France to Russia. He assembled the huge force from the tribes and different nations. This force captured Europe. After Genghis Khan he was the only leader to show the lie of Western superiority.
7. Hannibal Barca

Rome was the most feared opponent from the army of Hannibal. It seems from the childhood, Hannibal was only taught to defeat Rome. He defeated Rome in almost every battle. At Cannae, his force scared the huge Roman army. But at last he was defeated by Scipio Africanus.
8. Frederick the Great of modern

He was the student combats. He updated the army and did fight against Austria. His force was considered a strong one. He was known for his books and the writings during wars.
9. Napoleon Bonaparte

Napoleon was an artilleryman, but later on he became the general of the modern age. He leaded many campaigns along with his forces. Napoleon had brought a change in the warfare. At that time more then four super powers were required to defeat him.
10. George Washington

George was the most victorious leader of America. He was assisted was several subordinates. But he established his force, leading it to the victory at Trenton and Yorktown. He was elected as the president for two times.
