To get VA loan benefits you should fulfill certain criteria, and then you will be considered eligible for the VA loan benefit. The main criteria that you were not released from the active duty due to any misconduct, and you served for continuous 90 days in war and for 181 days in peace. If the veteran died during his or gone missing during his/her duty then the spouse will be considered eligible.
